@Jon something happened to the notices bell icon. Instead of getting a list of the threads that pinged me, I keep getting a new form with the list but that page doesn't include links to the threads so it is unusable. Any chance you can get this bug fixed?

Works for me in Chrome?

It goes to the list on the second click - just click once, Pat, don't double-click the bell.

(To be more clear, if you click the bell when the list is already visible, then you will go to the list.)

I just double clicked the bell, and I get that page, but the links are still there?
This does not happen in Android?

It is working as usual for me. Can you provide a screenshot so I can see what you are seeing?

It seems to be working correctly on a PC running Firefox under Win11. Single click = the short list as a drop-down with a link to each post in the short message; double-click for the wider list with a link to each post in the long message.

My laptop (win 11 Office 365) is responding similar to Doc's.

This is what I'm seeing today but I rebooted this morning. For the three days prior, I was seeing this same view except that there was no difference to identify the unviewed items and the links were dead. Today, at least this page is functional but I prefer the previous functionality which was to just drop down a short list rather than load a new page. I can't get the small dropdown anymore. I only get this full page. So something changed.

Pat, do other apps behave normally for you, or does it look like everything reacts like you used a double-click when you really used single-click?
(Just checking a wild-eyed theory that might have this effect.)

TBH I cannot see the links in that page anyway?
I do not use the Dark mode.

Try clearing cookies and browser cache. I all works fine this end. There have been no site changes.

Clearing cookies creates problems with other apps.

Doc may have something. This computer is < 6 months old. I'll see if I can find an old mouse to see if the mouse is broken but I'm not having trouble with any other site.

I couldn't find an old mouse. Maybe I'll buy a new one when I'm out later. Never hurts to have a spare mouse hanging around. There is another thing that happens that supports the double-click theory and that is when going back frequently jumps two back rather than the previous page. And I just used a new web page that required me to click some boxes and I had a lot of trouble.

This mouse hasn't been dropped any more then previous mouses but, this one could have landed wrong on the left button last time I dropped it and that is what is causing the problem.

Mouse driver is also worth a look at.

Perhaps your mouse has developed a drinking problem. Did you drop it in an adult beverage recently?

You should have seen the problem sooner than this, perhaps, but the mouse behavior includes customizations for "interval between consecutive clicks to qualify as a double-click" - which Windows calls "double-click speed". Check Settings >> Accessibility >> Bluetooth & Devices >> Additional mouse settings - which pops up a mini-control panel of various mouse settings.

The computer is only 6 months old but I knock it off the tray every once in a while. Usually the mouse cord is wrapped around one of the brackets. But if it's not, it hits the floor and it must have landed on the left button the wrong way last week. It's been about that long that this site has been acting wonky on me and it was only two days ago that I had a problem with another app. I'll get to a store soon. Thanks.
