Trump Administration Predictions (2 Viewers)

That is the wheel house.

He is one of them. Worse even, he is willing to destroy our economy because people that are obsessed with hating libs will follow him. That is all he is, an instigator of contempt against Liberals, nothing more.
So if we add up the millions of dead bodies, Trump is still the worst, correct?

We can only hope this is the message MSNBC, CNN, and the legacy media are going with, this should be a slam dunk for Vance.

It's definitely a dangerous message.

The day is young. He's just getting started. Hopefully our rule of law will prevail.

Based on Trumps first term, did he kill more people than Hitler?
You know what I mean. He is eroding our laws, using the exact methods in his journey.
Our culture is dominated by propaganda. The rule of law, is being abandon.

Actually, I don’t. Your posts are often intentionally vague and misleading. You and many others frequently hint at impending doom, but when pressed for specifics, or asked why these predictions didn’t materialize during Trump’s first term, things become fuzzy and unclear. I’m not completely naive I understand that we’re often lied to by those in power. Just look at Biden’s last election; the manipulation is real and dangerous. But some of us struggle with your constant doomsday theories that never seem to manifest.

Personally, I chalk it up to sour grapes and trolling.

You are describing the Biden administration. Your TDS prevents you from seeing the truth.
Your truths are all absolutes. God on your side, the devil on the other. This whole conversation has one purpose, to see just how brainwashed people can be. It's has not surprised me so far. I know a lot of Texans.

I have not hinted. I have bee very specific. Trump is putting the global economy at high risk. I've given multiple examples, and links to credible sources. (example WSJ).

As a result he has accelerated China's political currency gains and eroded ours. That idiot has the power to create a global depression., and people actually cheer him on.
As far as his above the law status, there is no proof in this universe that many conservatives are able to believe. Let alone, willing.

That's at least a debatable response. Can you explain why nothing real menacing happened in Trump first term? We've debated J6 and somehow lived though it.

It is not exactly a debate. Some people don't like the Constitution and want to ignore the plain words of the Constitution. "Subject to the jurisdiction of" has a clear legal meaning. Those who think that due process should not cover non-citizens are free to try to amend the Constitution.

It should be noted that citizenship clause codified the existing practice. The principle of Jus Soli goes back to English common law.
I think the exact opposite. I think the only reason they put "subject to the juridisdiction of", a rather strange and unncessary-seeming cryptic phrase, would be if there was some additional qualifier that had to be met BESIDES simply "being here".

It does have a clear, legal meaning but it is not the meaning of today. It is the meaning of 150 years ago in the context of the ending of the Civil War and the Democrats attempts to re enslave the children of the slaves just freed.

No it does not. You have to review the history of how that phrase came into being and its purpose. This is another example of those on the left attempting to contort language to meet a vile political agenda. Recall the abuse of the 14th Amendment as a faux basis to remove Trump form the electoral ballot process. PS: Consider this laughable example of maliciously twisting the Constitution to achieve a political objective. Every time Trump slipped, Democrats hysterically screamed 25th Amendment, yet when it came to dementia Biden, Democrats unbelievably asserted that Biden was as "sharp as a tack."

Also, the 14th Amendment does not provide for birthright citizenship, contrary to media claims, and its authors never intended it to include such a right. At no time did the authors of the 14th Amendment ever mention birthright citizenship. For 40 years AFTER the ratification of the 14th Amendment no court had ruled, and no Congress had argued that there was something called birthright citizenship.

@RogerCooper - And yet we survived for more than 200 years without a closed border --- Do you really not understand why the recent situation is far different from the past? or are you simply blinded by your TDS? 10's of thousands of illegals from ALL OVER THE WORLD, not just Mexico and Central America were crossing EVERY SINGLE DAY for years!!!!!! That is a far different situation than dribs and drabs of prior years. Mexico cooperated with the invasion by opening their southern border and facilitated the transit of the criminal invasion. This was an act of war.

I always cringe when I see these stories, because I know what is usually coming next. Some scumbag "civil rights attorney" who follows cop shootings around the country, will appear at a press conference with the man's family behind him saying what a great Father he was and how the cop should have just continued wrestling with him instead of shooting him, and all the liberals will fall in line and support the idea of putting the cop in prison for doing his job. And he didn't need to go for the leg, would've been well justified in killing him, for his own safety, but he didn't.

Agree. Roger thinks the trickle of immigrants from the past is the same as the flood of the modern day, and that the % of incomings versus the space and capacity we have to support them is exactly the same: And that mistake gets perpetuated throughout his conclusions going forward - Ergo, now he thinks "well if we didn't need to close the border in 1901, why do we need to close it today?"

Oh dear Roger. Conditions change.
