Missing Word File

I saved a file MS Word doc with my blood sugar readings that I need for my doctor Monday.
Name of the file: is July 26 Saturday
An hour later opened MS word clicked on file and got this

Microsoft Word, Sorry we couldn’t find your file. Was it moved renamed or deleted (…July 26 Saturday.doc)

went to file manager, July 25 is there, July 27 there but July 26 is missing.

Went to Idrive but it had not backed up.
Any ideas? using word 365, win 11

thanks I will try it. BTW also checked to see if it saved on i drive by mistake, wasn't there

If you are referring to recycle bid, then yes. If there is something actually called trash in win 11, I am not aware of it.

I try not to save anything to one drive, but I did check to see if it was there.
I keep telling myself I need to look up how to block one drive.
