My Dad was a GS-15 regional attorney for a fed gov agency. When I was 10 years old in 1965, he told me civil servants were prohibited from publicly revealing their party affiliation and being involved in political activities.

I would think DT managed to find out which civil servants are democrats, lay them off first, and if needed, hire republicans only so he can have better control over entire agencies. This is what he's done with DOJ, HHS, CDC, and several other agencies. This is what he's always done in the private sector. He lines up all his ducks.

Then why not tell us that the Dems and the Dem controlled media are in the propaganda business? Surely you can see it? Or, maybe you really can't. One thing that is clear though is that Republicans and other Trump supporters have no problem calling him out when he does something dumb but you don't have the backbone to criticize the Dems who lie to you day after day after day. All I've been hearing from them since Trump brought in the national guard is that they don't want any help to stop the crime. They are perfectly able to do it themselves. But no one ever asks - well why haven't you fixed the crime problem? The people railing against Trump are white liberals. The people in favor of the forced clean up are the black residents of the poor areas in DC who can finally walk the dog without being fearful of getting shot. Who is the racist?

Trump does have the authority to bring in the national guard for DC. He is overstepping a line when he threatens to do it for Chicago and other cities. Trump should ask the citizens of the other dangerous cities to start petitions asking their governor to ask Trump for help. Make the citizens responsible for their own fate. They caused the problem by continually reelecting the lying Democrats who promise the world but deliver chaos but there is no reason they have to live like this. Every citizen deserves a safe and clean neighborhood no matter how poor they are but they have to take a stand and say NOT IN MY HOME. When you tolerate drug dealers on every corner and people living on the streets and garbage everywhere, you get what you deserve.

One of the best things people have done recently for homelessness is to focus on TREATMENT.
I'm telling you, one thing I know: I don't care how many well-meaning sympathetic people claim it's not so, the underlying cause of homelessness is drug addiction. Not anything else. Sure, everyone has a story of how the bills go to be so much or what have you, but familiarize yourself with any congregation of homeless people and you will see pretty much 100% drug addiction. And if you know anything about addiction, you know that it's not the bills that drove them to drinkin', it's the meth/heroin that drove them to not be able to pay the bills. Not the reverse.

The solution to homeless people is not to give them a free house. The solution is to help them get out of their drug or alcohol addiction so that they have the actual capacity to maintain.

I have to admit you just surprised me. I didn't think your credibility COULD drop to a negative number, but it did. You don't know about Gavin Newsom, governor of California? By the way, I think having negative credibility means even people who don't know you don't believe you.

I haven't been watching the news lately. I did see s clip of him the other day. So then I looked him up. Hopefully he will calvanise the Dems so we can overcome Trump, and his minions, before we no longer have a representative government.
