There are versions of your video in English. The dialog and the graphics misstate the situation given that the Jewish occupation of the territory goes back thousands of years. At the end of WWII when the British were trying to exit the Palestinian Mandate (created after WWI when the Ottoman Empire was dismantled), they tried very hard to find an equitable distribution of the land based on then current population densities. The Arabs flatly refused to cooperate and dismissed all solutions. The "Palestinians" wanted ALL of the territory and felt the Jews deserved NONE of it. That was their position and they never waivered. So, the British made the decision to give Samaria and Judea and Gaza to the "Palestinians" and the rest of the territory to the Jews. What happened then?? I'll bet you have no clue no matter how many times I have posted the history of this region, you still believe the opinions from Al Jazeera.
Let me tell you one more time. As soon as Israel declared itself a country, Egypt attacked Israel and occupied Gaza. Jordan attacked Israel and occupied Samaria and Judea. Other neighboring countries also attacked Israel. Israel repelled all the attackers and they withdrew. Israel did not feel the need to protect the Palestinians from their own people. Therefore the Arab countries of the Middle East PREVENTED Palestine from ever emerging as a country. Why would you believe Al Jazeera and blame this on Israel? in addition, the High Mufti of Jerusalem convinced many of the "Palestinians" living in the territory allocated to the Jews that if they stayed, they would be persecuted. That was a typical lie but sadly (for them) too many believed it and abandoned their homes and businesses. When the dust settled and war ended, many refugees wanted to return but Israel wouldn't allow it. This is the origin of the refugee situation. Israel also expelled other Palestinians who supported the invasion. However, none of the Arabs and other non-Jews who stayed after the creation of Israel were ever persecuted. They all prospered and fully participate in Israeli society. They hold important positions in politics and the military and business. And when questioned as to whether they would prefer to live in a Muslim country, the answer is a resounding NO. Not allowing the Palestinian refugees who wanted to return back in was probably the biggest mistake Israel ever made. I understand their position though. Why allow the enemy within the gates? By that time, the Palestinians had certainly proved their hatred of the Jews. The newly formed country was going to have enough trouble establishing itself. They didn't need to tie their hands behind their backs also.
Many smaller wars ensued between 1948 and 1967. Then the big one happened in 1967. Again, at least SIX Arab countries massed together and invaded Israel once again. Israel fought back again and advanced this time. Israel took Gaza, the West Bank (Samaria and Judea) and the Golan Heights (Lebanon) as well as the entire Sinai Peninsula up to the Suez Canal. and kept them. The losers don't get their territory back when a war ends, especially when they were the aggressors. Israel returned the Sinai to Egypt in the late 80's and tried very hard for another 20 years to integrate the Palestinians. Israel never started the 6-day war but they sure finished it. Then in ~2004, Israel withdrew from Gaza. They forced the settlers to withdraw also and give up their businesses and homes and resettle back in Israel proper. They also dug up the buried and brought them home so the Muslims wouldn't desecrate the graves. So "Palestine" has been FREE for more than 20 years. Bet you didn't know that. What did they do with their freedom? They elected terrorists to lead them and spent all their money on buying bombs and arms and trying to kill every Jew they could. And you side with the terrorists because you believe the lies of Al Jazeera.
