Add to your list that you now know someone whose father, during WW II, built liberty ships for Higgins shipyards and later, when it was deemed the USA had enough Liberty ships, my father helped Delta Shipyards build PBYs for the Navy. Just to clarify, Higgins also built landing craft for the amphibious invasion forces, but Dad was on the Liberty ship project. Andrew Higgins did both for the war effort.

@Thales750 - You are on delicate ground here. You keep returning to use of the word "Nazi" - but you were warned a few months ago about abusing people by associating that term to them. Be VERY careful how you used that word, because if you use it as a member pejorative, that is one of the more extreme insults. If you point that 4-letter word at a member, it is grounds for suspension or other moderator action. If you use it ONLY for historical reference - and CLEARLY for that purpose only - then you are inside the guidelines, even if only barely so.

We've had a couple of language complaints on the forum recently and Jon has reminded us that with the new UK laws governing web sites, he could be personally responsible if someone complains to the appropriate authorities. As you have noticed all I do is compare the leader of MAGA with the leader of the Nazi party in 1930s Germany there are a lot of similarities and only the fact that the United States has a much better government than Germany did in the early parts of the 20th century if it wasn't for our government and its momentum and traditions and separation of power Mr maga himself would have already become Mr Nazi no constraint on his part has anything to do with why he hasn't done that.

Policy B was executed by Donald Trump, nominal Republican. He wants the government to have shares of private companies and have a veto power over their policies.

Thales - I dont think it's right you should compare Trump to Hitler or a Nazi. If you were alive during the 39-45 conflict and you saw the atrocities carried out, you would think twice. I'm not a fan of Trump but would never even consider any similarities. I think you should review your comments before posting them.
It's one thing to have harmless banter, most of it is a joke, but nobody deserves to have that comparison.
I suggest you take a look at some of the dictatorships around the world and be very thankful you were not born there - I know I am.

Ignorant is not name calling. It is pointing out that the member has no facts to back up his name calling. Just because someone is good with crowds doesn't make him "Hitler". Why not compare AOA to Hitler? She's good with crowds. I didn't call anyone stupid. I did point out that ignorance can be cured by education and an understanding of facts but there is no cure for stupid. Is Thales ignorant for comparing Trump to Hitler or is he stupid and incapable of reading history and understanding it? Or, perhaps, you think the comparison is valid.

Comparing Hitler to Stalin or Mao would be valid. Both could handle a crowd and both were also responsible for the deaths of millions. We don't consider Hitler to be evil because he was good with crowds or understood the media. We consider Hitler to be evil because he killed millions of people deliberately because he considered them to be less than human and he started a war that resulted in the deaths of millions more. In the case of Hitler, the media was 100% on his side once he acquired enough power. In the case of Trump, the media is 100% against Trump. That means that they suppress all positive news regarding Trump and only publish negative stories. You take that to mean that Trump is the evil orange man. How can Trump be a dictator? He can't even control the Executive Branch!!!!!!!!! The deep state is so embedded that they can easily work against him. But, somehow, more than half the country actively supports Trump even knowing that he is not always right and has been known to say really stupid stuff. How do you reconcile that? Maybe, just maybe, we're not all wrong and maybe you've been suckered by the media liars.

Do you even recognize that in 2015, your opinions were almost certainly Trump's opinions and only when the left decided that they could not EVER be on the same side of any issue as Trump did the descent into TDS begin. Since the current leftist beliefs are totally irrational starting with kill all the babies but protect all the death row inmates, and the current - the criminal is actually the victim so you can't prosecute them, you cannot defend your positions. No one can defend killing babies and yet NY and Virginia specifically allow it. No one can defend protecting illegal immigrates with deportation orders and rap sheets and yet the left does. No one can defend actual victims any more since it is the criminals that are the victims based on the new world order.
