Get glue, we only import MAYBE 2% oil from IRAQ
Canada remained the largest exporter of total petroleum in March, exporting 2.305 million barrels per day to the United States, which was a slight decrease from last month (2.448 thousand barrels per day). The second largest exporter of total petroleum was Mexico with 1.749 million barrels per day.

get glue?

Well Colin, may I ask if you were a world leader, what would you do?

So you're not going to answer my question then Joe?

Col

Colin, sorry about the mispelled word. And the question is?. I noticed your answer: ........pray

Isn't that America's answer to everything?

God is American, didn't you know? God is Bush's advisor, it was god that told Bush to invade and kill as many people (including Americans) as possible in order to get the oil under US control.

Odd thing being is that (according to Joe) even if you disagree, you still support your dictator in his actions - so killing innocent people is fine by Americans.

Bush will veto any block the senate puts on his plans anyway - whats the point in a senate if the prez can veto anything he disagrees with?

Rich/Colin, so much hatred towards Americans. Well we can't make everyone happy. But you what, I still would sit down at the table with the both of you and try to have a normal debate and than once over, I would get up and shake your hand, and have no hard feelings. Just remember I am speaking for myself not for the entire USA, you guys have to remember that, and for that, this is my last comment. And still thanks to All the Vets, including the Brits you have made me feel proud to be American.

God Bless All

I was talking about individual people - as you well know. The gung-ho Yanks who couldn't wait to have a fight and get into a war, so lied to get into the RAF.

Col

I didn't pick up on the 'individul people' bit. Apologies for the confusion.

In the hope that this wasn't your last posting, and in no way intending to start an argument, I'm curious:

You obviously believe strongly in supporting those who are/were in the US military. Great, more power to you.
You also say you would support the president, whatever he did, even if you disagreed with it, because of the role he represents. Again, good luck to you.
How would you reconcile the two is, for example, the president introduced some policy or other which completely screwed over the personnel who are/were in the forces? Hypothetically, let's say, a 50% pay cut, across the board.

Where would you feel your loyalties should lie? Supporting the men and women affected, or supporting the man making the decisions?

Alc, good question. honestly, I don't know. I don't even know how to answer that question and be able honest about my answer. You have admit, that is a hell of question.

Ok Alc, I have thought about it, I guess I support the men and women that are affected.

Thanks for the honest answer, Mr 8915 (or can I call you Joe? :D ).

From reading the posts, I was just wondering how many people who express total support for the president - because of his role and not his ability - have a line beyond which that support would waiver or fail. Again, this isn't a criticism, I bet there are plenty of people who have never even considered the idea of a personal conflict.

Actually He has dual-nationality

who happens to be the accepted leader of the British people.

As I'm sure you've been told before, he happens to be the leader of the party with the majority in the House of Commons, he was not elected as the leader of the country, unlike Bush

Joe do you own a gun? If so, and guessing you regard yourself as a christian (most americans claim they are) and ex military. How do you feel about the possibility of killing a total stranger on the say-so of your president?

Does that conflict with your christian beliefs? or is it ok to kill people?

Col

Colin, I never met you, but what ever answer I gave you would say "you dumb Americans are all alike", you are so anti American it wouldn't matter what answer I gave. Colin you great guy, but you have to get away from being so anti American. What did we or I do ever deserve the bad rap. Hey I am easy going guy, with supporting my country, and respecting other people.

If I can accept you the way you are, you should in turn do the same.

To answer your question. I guess define what is christian. Now if we bring in relgion, then we go into a whole new topic. What christian means to me and what it means to you, would be differen't (maybe). Of course it not ok to kill people, but to defend my country, I would do it in heart beat.
