here goes
i have 2 printers on my pc
1 to print delivery notes ( this printer is a laser printer )
1 to print labels ( this printer is a thermal printer )

since changing to access 2007 the labels do not print

i have been in page setup in design view of the label and changed default printer to the label printer but it just keeps changing back to the default laser printer and all the labels do not come through the thermal printer.

basically when i design my label and change it to print from the thermal printer it changes back to defaulted printer

any please

regards
simon

I assume the notes and labels are reports. In report design view, click page setup then page then use specific printer then pick a printer then save. Should be OK.

I have had a problem similar where the printer was not compatible with Access and all the reports would not open when the non compatible printer was selected as the default printer.
Maybe try and see if the thermal printer is compatible with Access 2007

My problem was only with access. Word and Excel worked fine with the printer

It's a Microsoft bug, and not yet solved!

known as issue kb950488, you will find it, post a demand for the hotfix, and never get an answer...

We are really stuck here, we have about 15 printers, 17 different reports. Now reports are coming out in other cities (internet shared printers), where they shouldn't aso...
