Form Text Box Width

I am sorry, but I can't believe I don't know how to do this in Access 2007!!!

Not meaning to insult everybody's intelligence, I have created a Form, and now I am not able to resize text boxes individually. Whatever I try, changing the width of one text box (by dragging or changing width property) changes them all. I have tried everything (I can think of!) including changing the column widths of the control source (which I rightly didn't think would work anyway).

Any help to this ridiculously stupid enquiry would be gratefully received.

Are you sure you didn't accidentally create a continuous form? That would explain this in a simple way...

If they all have the same control source, that would do it too.

Actually, Adam, I believe this is normal behavior for ACC2007! The controls on a form, by Default, are all "selected" if you will, so that changes made to one are made to all. There is a command on one of the menus that will turn off this behavior. Unfortunately, I don't have a coopy of 2007. Hopefully someone will come along who does and knows where the command resides.

I am running 2007 right now Linq, and I know about this stupid feature. But this only happens when you create an autoform. I wonder if that's what he did??

You go into the form in design mode, select the controls and click the ARRANGE menu item tab and then click on the REMOVE button in the Control Layout section which is next to the buttons named TABULAR and STACKED.
