I have a question, a reproduction actually, that I need some help with.

The issue centers around Access 2007 and potential crash using certain methods.

It is a sensitive matter so I need to keep it via PM until it is made public through proper channels.

It should not be a great deal of time involved, but I am a little unfamiliar with the methods being employed and could really use some help from an expert here (that has Access 2007).

Are you saying that the coding itself is so sensitive that it must be done in private? I really find that one hard to believe. I would think if it really is that sensitive, you should hire a consultant and have the consultant sign a non-disclosure agreement.

See your signature for advice on this Bilbo. I would have to agree with GolferGuy too. I don't consider myself an expert, per se, but I do have A2007. I'd like to hear a bit more detail about the secrecy. You don't work for the FBI by chance, do you?

But then again, that agency is probably using a lot more sophistication that Visual Basic can offer, so nevermind...

Thanks for the replies.

I understand the apparent conflict with my thread here, and my signature line.

This is still preliminary and all will eventually be made public. An important difference however is that I have solicited the assistance from anybody willing to and capable of help, rather than targeting a specific user via PM direct.

Also, there is no cloak and dagger, and no need of confidentiality agreements, and no need of over active imaginations.

I am simply swamped with work at the moment, and have been handed a special task for which I do not have the opportunity to adequately prepare myself with the requisite knowledge.

I hope that although my skills are not as great as some here, that what help I have been able to provide for other members may allow some with greater skill sets to feel better about helping me out in this circumstance and being trusted to keep it to themselves for now.

Thanks again.
