Hi All

I was how to get the same style and mixture of colors blended together (a gradient effect) as seen in the page header of any microsoft access 2007 template.

It seems that the background colors are mixed in i.e. light blue to dark blue and gives it a nice appearance, it also has a solid bar accross the form. How can i achieve this effect with my form?

You can see what i mean in the page header of any ms access 2007 templates or the northwind template.

Many thanks

I just finished designing a database with solid header colors. The end user wanted it colored just like the Northwind sample, and she said she would do it. I asked her how, and she said she spent a lot of time mixing the backcolors. That's all she said though....I'm still not really sure how she did it.

The thing you might want to try in 2007 is selecting the form's header, and then choosing "templates" under the formatting section of the ribbon, and selecting the blue-colored mixture that is in the list from the Northwind sample. I'm not sure if there is a setting Access that allows this ability, but when I tried to click on it initially, the header did not change. I am still wondering if that has to be your first choice for a form's format, instead of trying to copy it into a pre-created form and header.

At any rate, the format you're looking for is in that "format" section of the ribbon.
