Max Date Problems

Here you go - I forgot that you need to link back to the original query which combines the date/time. I have enclosed your sample with two new queries but the final one is qryEquipment_Location_SUB_COMBINED

You rock. Thats it.

So you created links between equipmentid and date, instead of just equipmentid, was that it?

Yes, but it had to be between the date/time field so you had to have the date/time field in the other as well.

By the way, I would store the date/time as a single field and then you can break them apart if needed, or format to view as needed. It is harder to combine them (and takes more steps) than if they were a single field.

I would love to change it, but I am already awefully far into my db. What you saw was merely one part of the full db. I created what you saw because I was experimenting with a different design idea I had. It is working wonderfully, now that you have helped with that last query. So now I need to merge what you saw with the full db, which probably wont be fun.
