I too was curious, so I searched the Internet and found the following:

The phrase Uncle Tom Cobley and all is used in British English as a humorous or whimsical way of saying et al., often to express exasperation at the large number of people in a list. The phrase comes from a Devon folk song "Widecombe Fair". Its chorus ends with a long list of people:

Nah, thats not right, it's more like the huge corporations want to pay as little as possible, so they get illegals who live 30 people to a 2 bedroom apartment to work for very low wages. With unemployment reaching over %10 this government is INSANE to allow these people in here to steal our jobs, and drive down our wages. I know this, the company I work for hires these dirtbags at very very low wages. They tell me they have no respect for this country, they are just here for the money, and they laugh at us for letting them get away with it.

I think you need to do a little more research on who the 'dirtbags' are. It is the proprietor of the business that controls the wages and the workforce not the employees. The illegals are being treated with just as much disrespect by their employers as the legals who have been ousted by them. The illegals are not stupid, they know this.

If your government stopped all illegal immigrants from entering the country, what do you think would happen? These companies wouldn't increase their wages and hire an all-American workforce. Once the profit margins were thin enough, they'd close down.
