Hello,

This is driving me nuts and has been alluding me for months. I just cant get my head around it.
I've looked at a number of detailed instructions on the web but im still having no joy.

In a query, I want to reference a subform within a subform. There is a cbo control on frmSub2 that I want (frm_Main -> frm_Sub1 -> frmSub2)

The latest I have is:
Code:
[FONT=Verdana][COLOR=#000080][Forms]![frm_Main]![CTRLsubfrm1].[Form]![frm_Sub1]![CTRL_subfrm2].[Form]![cbo1][/COLOR][/FONT]

*frm = Form
*CTRL = Control

Can anyone please help me figure this out once and for all? J

Thank you

frm_Main -> frm_Sub1 -> frmSub2

What are these then: CTRLsubfrm1, CTRL_subfrm2? Does this help?

Are you referring to both the subform control and the subform? If so, you only want the control. See if this works:

Forms!frm_Main!CTRLsubfrm1.Form.CTRL_subfrm2.Form.cbo1

Fantastic!
Thanks PBaldy! Thats great... I had previously look at the various websites but I just want getting it.

No problem, glad it worked for you.
