I wonder if we have a terminology or symantics issue here. May I ask when you imported the table into the new DB and then opened it, you said the "DB window does NOT display".

When you open the new DB does the imported table show in the Navigation Pane to the left? Because at that point, the DB window IS being displayed but no form is opened yet. Are you confusing the DB window with a form being opened and displayed?

I would be happy to do what you suggest. But, tell me why when I open one of my DBs from a shared drive, it opens correctly from the other computer, but not from mine. The file is not being opened at the same time.

LarryE. No. It does not show a DB window. It shows, a window with a list of tables from the DB where I am taking a table form. It does not look the Import Objects.jpg DB window. Here is a picture of that

A2003 has a database window ...not the navigation pane which was introduced in A2007

DO NOT SHARE YOUR DATABASE USING A CLOUD DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you sure the other user has the same version of Access that you have? If they have 2007 or newer, they don't have the database window. They have the Navigation Pane.

Well, then I guess we are left with you uploading the db so we can look at it.

Someone with A2003 will need to open the database to let us know what he sees.

I know that someone with 2003 version needs to open the Db but I opened with Access365 to look for anything unusual.

I was going to suggest another person opening the db on the other site, but the O/P has already done that with the other user in their organisation.
So it looks like it is down to their computer.?

I tried it, but I was not sure where to put it. Also, I never put code like this in any other DB I wrote.

This is what the DB window should look like. You are missing 3 lines before the table name

Just run it from the immediate window. :(
It just changes a setting one time only.

I cannot get to an immediate window unless there is a DB Window showing!
