    Can you do a cartwheel?

I could do it when I was younger, more flexible and did not have extra pounds in the middle. Not brave enough to try anymore.

Military being forced to take the vaccine

I remember reading early in the COVID-19 outbreak how a naval vessel had a number of sailors with COVID-19. Say the least that had to affect day to day operations. Fortunately they were not involved in a conflict.

    ODBC Office 365 issue.

Our organization recently upgraded to Office 365 and now we need to create an ODBC (32-bit for Crystal Reports) to a new database. We currently have a few other Access databases with ODBC's already (which are working fine). But now when we try to create a new ODBC (System DSN, Microsoft Access...

    Linked table manager oddity

I think I figured out what is going on. It added a dbo. to the name of the table (my original table does not have the dbo.), So I will have to figure how how to fix that.

    Linked table manager oddity

So we are now on Office 365 and I need to link one of the tables to another database (test). But I go through the procedure. Create a new link. Id the table I want, click on re-line. But when I check the table's link data, it has not changed. Any ideas?

    Rope tornado

Seems like there is another name they use. They have a huge base (several hundred feet). Probably nothing official, just what the media calls them.

    What's your best/worst joke?

Yellowstone, bears, COVID. Why do I think there would be a Far Side cartoon that fits?

    Rope tornado

I have heard various names given to different tornadoes over the years (grew up in the midwest USA). I fear all tornadoes. I fear the largest ones the most since it is hard to get out of their way.

What the world is coming to...

I do not go to Tik Tok, I just read about some of the things that have been posted. It proves that people can be pretty weird.

What's your favorite bottle of wine?

This is somewhat related to wine, but is also a somewhat racist joke, so please do not beat me up for this (I heard it over thirty years ago). Do you know what a Jewish American Princess favorite wine is? I want to go shopping (for those who have watched the Nanny TV show, you can use Fran's...

    🎶 Good day, sunshine 🎶

The summer heat has returned to Central Valley California. Several days above 100 (Fahrenheit) already. Supposed to get a break in the temperatures next week.

    It's a brand new day!

I get to wake up twice every morning. Once to feed my granddaughter at ~2 am and then again when I get up to go to work. Both times it can be pretty difficult to say it is a great morning since it can be difficult to maintain upright stability (my balance is a little off at first).

Grizzly bears don't like Android phones

Wild bears can be very dangerous and unpredictable. I worked in Yosemite National Park (US) for three years. I had my fair share of encounters with bears.

    I identify as vaccinated

I have been vaccinated for a great number of diseases over the years (thank goodness no side effects). Will I still get the disease even though I am vaccinated, possibly. Will I get sick with take a future vaccine, possibly. But I feel it is worth the risk. I have read that even though some...
