It's a brand new day!

A while back, I started reading a book on habit creation. One of the recommendations is that when you get out of bed in the mornings, the first thing you say to yourself is, "Today is going to be a great day!" And that is what I have done ever since. :)

I am hoping for some placebo effect.

Nice!

I get to wake up twice every morning. Once to feed my granddaughter at ~2 am and then again when I get up to go to work. Both times it can be pretty difficult to say it is a great morning since it can be difficult to maintain upright stability (my balance is a little off at first).

2am?? Holy Sheep-Shit Batman! How old is she?

We are also 'raising' our two year old granddaughter (everything is hers and anything within reach she likes to grab).

We have a friend raising twin 9-year-old girls, talk about a handful sheesh.
