    Calendar-style Report

That might work -- but wouldn't you be limited if a month didn't have entries for a particular day(s) ? I know from experience you 'pre-enter' the months even if they don't occur in the crosstab results, but different months have different amount of days. ??

    Quick from question

Morlan: Fizzio is correct relating to normalization of your database tables, but had a few minutes and decided to give you an example of how you could do what you want. The attached zip has two files (db4 is Access2000, while db3 is Access97 --- wasn't sure which version you had attached). A...

    Calendar-style Report

Mark: We use Outlook. And in a way I agree with your thinking. But this is not a 'time controlled' project and that's why it was considered that it might better be done in Access. But on your thought, could Access be coded to fill in multiple entries on a date(s) in an Outlook calendar ...

    Blank report being printed

Maybe if you could attach a database with the necessary objects it would be easier for forum readers to discover your problem.

Crosstab query as source for report

Try going into the Query properties, Column Headings property and enter all the months Jan, Feb, Mar separated by commas -- think this will help you.

Combo box rowsource data type question

Not sure what you eventual goal is, but playing with your problem, did discover that if you place 'Password' as the Input Mask for the second combo box on your screen, your code will work when you select Comment in the first combo box. This would indicate that Access is not evaluating for both...

    Changing Record Source by Code

Try this (can't seem to put my fingers on the code I've used but this should be close enough to get you started)... Reports![rpt_Vouchers].RecordSource = "Voucher-Fund02" DoCmd.OpenReport "rpt_Vouchers", acPreview, "", "" HTH Good luck JT

    Changing Record Source by Code

Two suggestions: 1) Rename variable file you're sending to report (or copy it to fixed name) then the report can use the 'fixed name'. 2) Set the RecordSource property of the report before you open it. HTH

    Calendar-style Report

Has anyone ever created a monthly calendar style report in Access whereby a user enters a list of items to a table through an input form and they would fall where they belong on a particular day(s) in a monthly-look calendar when printed ? Is this a 'dream' wish or can it become a reality ...

Going from Tab to Tab on a Form

You're the man ! Created a dummy tab control and saw the property was Page 1, Page 2, etc. In my Tab control I had given the pages names, Collection1, Collection2, etc. Just used the Collection2 in your Me!Collection2.SetFocus and it worked great. Thanks for hanging in there till we solved...

Going from Tab to Tab on a Form

Rich, guess your suspicions were right, using Me!Page2.SetFocus refturns an error 2465 'can't find the field 'Page2' referred to your expression. But I don't understand why. Like I mentioned earlier the Page Index property indicates there are Pages 0 to 5. Is that not the property it's...

Using Ctrl-F to bring up Find Window

In my database I've always told the users they can go to a field on the screen and press Ctrl-F to activate the Find window, but I notice yesterday under Acc2000 that it brings up a Find/Replace window. Can I limit what it brings up to the old fashioned FIND option ONLY ?? Don't want them using...

Going from Tab to Tab on a Form

Using this example works for going from Page 0 to Page 1, but when I use the same code to go from Page 1 to Page 2, etc. I get a run-time error 2163 : The page no you used as an argument doens't exist in the form. The actual form I'm using has a page index property which runs from 0 to 5 (6...

    Database Maximum Size

If still having problems compacting. Try creating a new database, then File | Get External Data | Import all the objects from the current database. See if this doesn't change the effective SIZE of the overall database. It could be that your daily updating of the active database is creating a...
