Seeking a Moderator for the Moderators

The truth is, you can't please everybody. People come, people go. It's their prerogative. For example, some loved the politics section, others hated it. All I can do is provide a place where you can all interact. I've little control over who decides to join and what you want to talk about...

Solved Should we make The_Doc_Man a Super Moderator?

The_Doc_Man has made great efforts to moderate these forums, helping to keep them going and protect them from outside forces. And sometimes that includes making difficult and unpopular choices. For this reason, I am thinking he should go from Moderator to Super Moderator. Your thoughts on a...

Uncle Gizmo has also left the building

After about 22 years and 17,000 posts, Tony has decided to leave. He has asked me to delete all his posts and delete his profile, which myself and the mods are now in the process of doing. In order to preserve some of the popular threads, we are doing a rewrite of the first posts for threads...

    Site Upgrade

Good to see you back, and congratulations on finding work that brings satisfaction. You are largely responsible for keeping this site going in the past, so the members here should be giving you the thumbs up on your return. And yes, the Xenforo software is excellent. As for me, I have...

Has anyone integrated n8n.io automation with an Access project?

My understanding is that installing it on your local system is free. But verify for yourself. The version that you host on a VPS is also free, but you need to pay the hosting fee. If you want to use their cloud version, which is fast to setup, then that costs.

Has anyone integrated n8n.io automation with an Access project?

I have started to learn n8n. It looks amazing! I'm in the very first stages though, having created my first workflow. I am doing a self hosted community edition, running on hetzner web hosting. Total cost is like $7 per month for unlimited number of executions. It took me a while to set up...

    Experience with AI is Key

Let me give you an example of how I sometimes use AI to give more robust answers. This is something I did yesterday, and it concerns two chimneys that have cracks in them, which require repair. Firstly, I have paid versions of both ChatGPT and Gemini, and in each I switched them to Deep...
