Question 2007 reports - once maximised, cant be reduced

I have successfully converted my old 2003 format db into 2007 and all is dandy.. however, when i maximise the report, i cant reduce it again. the only option is to close the report which also closes access.. it seems the report does not have its own resize icons in the top right hand corner.

The only way round it - to close the report without closing Access is to use the ribbon and select "close print preview"

It would be a lot nicer and more user friendly to be able to manipulate the size of the open report individually.

nb: when a report is run, it defaults to print preview

Have you tried switching off Tabbed forms?

Overlapping windows

Hi RG,

thanks for the reply and advise. I checked and as I thought, this option was already ticked...

When I open the report with the command window still open, all 3 buttons are available when i maximise the report. ie, i can reduce it as i like. however, when i run the program and the command window is hidden, when the report is opened and maximised.... i cant reduce it again.. wierd!!
