Not sure how many people are using the 2007 Access Beta but, does anyone know why a line will not show up on a report in preview mode even though it is clearly there in design view (I have it set to visisble - yes - in the proprties of the line.

It does not matter where I put the line, header, detail etc. or how thick it is.

I have been battling this with the 2007 beta, not sure if it is a bug or just something new about the 2007 version that I am not aware of.

I have added lines in design view to Access reports hundreds of times in the past (using Access 2000). For some reason the 2007 version will not show the damn line(s) and its driving me mad.

Other than that I really like the new Access

Lines, lines, lines, ya ya

A bug in Microsoft? Say it ain't so.
Just out of curiousity, does it show up when you actually print the report?
Unfortunately I have not tried 2007...or fortunately..

Actually I really like the new 2007 version. Once you use it a bit you don't want to go back.

How bizarre, it does appear when you print the report, just not in preview or print preview. Kind of messed up.

Hi,

I can't seem to reproduce this on my end testing with 2007. I added a couple of lines to the Detail section, switched to Print Preview and then Preview, and I could see the lines just fine every time.

Your color scheme wouldn't be interferring would it? You might also have a 'hiccup" in your installation. (Just throwing out possibilitles here.)
