Hi All,

I've been developing in Access 2002-2003, and now have Access 2007. I can open a 2002-3 .mdb database OK, but when I click on the Main Menu buttons, nothing happens -- they do not work. So I cannot access any of the existing Menus and Forms. In fact, none of the previously existing databases I tried will open/close Forms using the existing buttons. Any ideas?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Look for this:

Thanks Bob. I've done that but am looking for a way to permanently over-ride Users having to do this. I checked online and read about going into the Trust Center Settings and disabling all macros. This worked fine. Not sure how this will work on a split database and .mde file. Appreciate your help. You are great!

Guess I spoke too soon . . . my databases won't open past the first button click on the Main Menu. I've changed the Trust Settings (see attached screenshot) but no longer see the Message Bar with the Options button. Any suggestions?

Um, you don't want "Disable all macros without notification" you want
ENABLE all macros

Good grief! How dumb of me. Thanks Bob.

My admins have blocked users from changing their macro settings (greyed out). Any way to change to "Disable all macros except digitally signed macros" or "Enable all macros" via the registry or code? I have no problem signing my code.
