Hi All,
I'm trying to create a Runtime to be installed with the Application. It all works OK but the Application file is not included with the final package (either .accdb or .accdr).
I want to place the whole package on a disc.
I am using the Wizard to create the runtime package and the Runtime application installation works OK when the setup file is run.
The wizard asks for the .accdb file OK.
The only two area's that are vague is:
a) The Root install folder drop-down on Page 2
b) The install Sub Folder (Should this be the same as the destination folder on Page 1?)

So how do I get the Application package included please?

Installation Options

Page 2 of the Package Solution Wizard contains the following Installation Options settings:
  • File to package specifies the path and file name of the Office Access 2007 database that you want to include in the deployment package.
  • Root install folder and Install subfolder specify the folder location where your application will be installed.
  • Pre-installation requirements lets you specify if you want to require that users have Office Access 2007 installed before your application can be installed, or if they have to use the Access 2007 Runtime. Table 2 describes the available options.
