Is this a bug in 2010? The Package Solution Wizard works until anything is entered into the "Install Subfolder" column. "An unexpected error" occurs and files are not packaged. This worked perfectly in 2007!

I tracked down my "An unexpected error" to the same issue. As long as I do not include a subfolder the package completes correctly.

Not 2010 yet but I'm guessing you guys have found a workaround by creating the folder(s) if it doesn't exist?

I think this is one problem that will have to wait until Microsoft provides a corrective upgrade. As far as I can see there is no way to make a package with a subfolder. This is disappointing because I have been producing a product for years which requires a subfolder. Does anyone know how to tell Microsoft?

I have Bill Gates's number in my mobile, hang on I will see if he is in...

Go on the Microsoft website and report it.

What are you using the subfolders for exactly? Images, additional text files, plug-ins?

Oh nice. Can you give it to me because I would want to chat to him for days explaining problems with some of his products :D

Sorry but he asked me not to hand it out to anyone. However I will pass on your thoughts/suggestions.
