I've been trying to figure out a one-file solution to convert an mdb from Access 97 to an SQLite db3 file, on a Windows environment. The Access file's still being used pretty much every day and I'm not really in a position to change either end of this. I was thinking export to csv and import that way but there are multiple tables to export and SQLite doesn't like the exported data, I'm guessing because of datatype mismatches. This solution would have to be run nearly every business day as the web site checks against the db3 but the work is being done on the mdb.

It goes without saying that none of this is how I would've set it up, so asking that they upgrade is going nowhere.

Have you googled for ODBC driver for SQLIte? I am sure there were ODBC driver and with some patience, you can actually link to SQLite from Access and therefore use Access queries to load up the data.
