Access 97 Report Problems

I am currently doing a night school course on Access 97 and I have come across a problem that the tutor cannot resolve.

I have constructed the tables, queries and forms and all are giving the required results in preview.

The problem I have is that when I try to create a report using the wizard based on a query I get an error message 'No current record'. When you click on ok you are returned to the database window.

Has anyone any ideas why it is doing this and how is the problem might be resolved?
