Access and Visio - are they related?

Other collegues in my office are having problem running Visio after I installed my Access application on their PCs.

Each time when launching Visio, it immediately shows installation of Access Runtime, then once the installation is completed, Visio hangs.

IT Support suspects the problem could be caused by my Access (runtime) as it is the last software installed that has caused Visio to fail.

Has anyone encountered such problem? And what should I do?
