HI

I have created a db for work, all works fine except for one problem, when users search for an existing record using the FIND option the db returns that no match found, and I know for 100% that it does exist, so when users search for the the same record again, the search is succcesful.

puzzled

Thank
Rebbaz

Is it possible that the user is midway thru the records when the first find occurs - and does the search start from there and go down. And when the second search begins, they are back at the top of the records?

???

??

It's not that, because the search is set to begin from the top.

Hum...

Could you get the stuff small enough to post?

Is the cursor in the field you are searching?
I know this is basic but I sure have made simple mistakes my own self!! :D

Are you using like, the find word, or find next record?

maybe you are looking for a word in the current record?
