I have a client who's decided to run all their apps from Citrix. Although the access db I designed is split and every user has their own FE copy (even on citrix) they are all using the same access.exe file installed on the server. All is running well at the moment as they only have a few concurrent Citrix users, but I am beginning to wonder how many instances of access.exe can be be run at the same time. Am I going to have problems as the number of users increase?

Thanks for the link Gina.

Had a quick read but can't seem to find any answer to question that's bugging me. How many instances of access.exe can be run simultaneously?

I'm hoping it's an infinite number , but then infinite is quite a big number!

Take care

Hmmm, I was hoping the article would shed some light but I guess not. I can say that as far as I know it can handle 20+ Users as long as you have the proper licensing AND it's a thought that never came up...

I suppose I'll just have to suck'n'see, I suppose if they get stuck with over 20 users scenario they could share the users on the other server (they have 2 in the farm)

Thanks for the effort

Being a bit naughty here; Any idea when the SP1 issue might be resolved and where will it be announced?

There are some workarounds for a few of the issues see...

There are problems with Microsoft Office 2010 SP1. Did you update Office (or Access)? If you are unsure see last link...
