Hopefully an easy answer to this one

I currently have a database which starts up with a form in pop up mode as the form look alot neater this way.

My question - how do I make it so the main MS Access window opens in a pop up style to fit round the form which is a square around a 1/3 of the full screen - so now borders etc.

Thanks for your help

"popup" is one of the form properties.

Look at "docmd.movesize" to position and size a window.

Thanks for your reply

Doesn't the MoveSize function only work when sizing forms etc.

I want to resize the actual MS Access window itself to fit tight ot the form rather than taking over the screen - and I want it to be that way when anyone opens the database

Any ideas

Simple Software Solutions

I assume you intention is to hide the Access background when opening up the application. Why not go to your start up properties from the tools menu and click on the Start Up option then uncheck the Show Database Window option.

To Unhide you need to reverse this process using the Unhide option.

Sorry, I misunderstood the question.

I don't think that you can resize the Access startup scree (you call it a form).

Hide the startupo screen and create a real form which displays the same content and size it.
