Access with Linked Tables in server logging in issue

hello everyone !

I have 2 access database files on my USB stick, one is the back-end which holds all the tables and I can open this no problem. The other is the front end, which holds forms, queries and reports and it links to the tables in the back-end database.

trouble is it links to the files on the server where they used to be. So the linked files are not working. When opening the front end in developer mode (holding shift) I can see all the forms etc but I can't edit them as it requires me to login and I can't login as the login table is on the backend database which the link it incorrect .

is there anyway to change this link to the tables without logging in ?

Have you tried using the Linked Table Manager to change the Table that the Front End is Linking to? You should be able to change the link to any and all of your Tables in the Developer Mode.

Just tried and i'm logged in now and all tables linked, however I still cannot view the design mode of the forms.I go into users and permissions ; User and group permissions, it says current user Admin and Admin can Open, Read, Modify and Administer. Yet I still cannot get into Design Mode, any ideas ?
