Action Button on Subform with continuous firing every time I click on any of the fields on that line (1 Viewer)

I have a delete button on each continuous line that deletes the line when required. My problem is that when I click on any of the fields in the line the action button activates. I have a message box come up asking to confirm that you want the record deleted. respond with NO and it goes away. It only happens once on the other fields, after the first time all is OK - I can access the fields on the line
Can anyone tell me why this is happening

check if the code is in the Current Event of the Form.

Sounds like you have the code in 2x, once on the button, once somewhere else. I doubt it is the current event because that will fire every time you select a new record, or requery, or refresh, and you say that it only happens once. Maybe duplicate code is in the form Activate or Click event.

You were right Microm, The parent form had the same code, I deleted that and all is OK
