Adding text to combo box

Hi,

I have a combo/list box that is populating a list of telephone numbers. Because most of these numbers contain two different area codes. I would like to create a button that would automatically fill the first three digits with either XXX or YYY before they type and set the focus right after the three digits, so the user can add additional digits. Can anyone help with the VBA. Thanks.
