I have been running Office Xp for years.
In one (Access) application/form I have a small field that only shows the the first 4 numerals such as 26.46 Of say 26.46789
Decimal places is just set as Auto but the field is only wide enough to display the first 4 numerals

No prob

However in trying the same thing in Access 2007 (Same form/application) i get a string of ####.On review it is showing the last 4 digits 6789,and not the first 4 in the space provided.
Any suggestions how I can correct that so it disolays correctly in both versions
Tks

Where . is your decimal sign as per definition of your regional settings, I think that is what your looking for...

According to Allen Browne this is an Option in 2007 and is configurable:

Office Button | Access Options | Current Database | Check for truncated number fields.

Many thanks guys
I appear to have resolved the problem by changing the format "General Number" to "Standard"
Decimal places was left on "Auto"
And a very "fractional" increase in column width to fit in the fourth number
