My Data base is Ms Access 2003. When I try to Use ALT key symbol - % - in send key macros, it does not function.
An error message is shown. Message"The key or key combination %B in AutoKeys has invalid syntax or is not allowed.
I am not an advanced user of Ms Access. Can any one help me...?

Thanks The DBguy.

Hi. I'm looking at it now. It seems Ctrl+B works but neither Alt+B nor Shift+B does. I'll let you know if I find anything to help fix it or explain why.

Hi. Quick question. The file you posted was a MDB. But, which version of Access are you using on your machine?

Ok. Thanks theDBguy
The reason why I say that is because when I go to MS site, this is what I see (hint: no example of using Alt key).
However, if I do a Google search, I find this tutorial, which shows how to use the Alt key.
Unfortunately, though, that article uses the example of using %E. But when I try that, it still errors out. :(

I can confirm that Alt cannot be used as part of an Autokeys macro. You are restricted to Ctrl &/or Shift
This may be to prevent confusion with hot keys that can be used with form controls where Alt is used
