Alter path of linked database (1 Viewer)

Hi

Q. about a linked table path-> when you link a table in an Access mdb it is going to register the path of the original, other mdb file of the linked table on your computer.

I really need to alter this path to use the mdb's online.... so instead of c:\\inetpub\db... I would like to make the path
of the linked table relative, more like ../../db/myfile.mdb

Is this possible, and if yes how ????

Use a call to Access' TransferDatabase. Check the Help menu for the options.

Click that box at the lower left corner of the form and Access will let you specify a new location. Then when the file dialog box comes up, type the UNC name into the file box rather than choosing a directory, etc.
