Annoying report printing problem

I am trying to rectify a printing problem with my reports:

For some reason a report which shows in the Preview as being 2 pages then prints as 4 pages.

Page 2 of 2
Blank page

The 2 extra pages are completely blank. Help!?!

Is it the width of my report? What is the maximum width a normal portrait style report can be?

I think it defaults to a 1" margin. Which means the print area should be less than 6.5".

printout on too much pages

indeed it could (i think it is) a problem of redundant space in your page size. if you open the report in design view, left-top shows a small "dot". in case there is some problem, the color of this "error indicator" changes to other (red, green,...) accordingly to your settings, and bellow the indicator appears a exclamation mark in a white field(small). if you click on the exclamation (not the right click), you get the hints with usefull solutions. one of this might be: "remove extra report space". so try this, it shoul solve the print problem.
