So let me get this straight:

- Biggs says "you have people who might be making up to 600,000 paying no premiums"
- Article then debunks this by saying "no one who makes more than half a million....."

...And that was sufficient to call his entire statement a lie? Really? Because he was off by 100k out of 500k? His point remains, people up to 500,000.....

I just feel that the liberal media constantly tries to call conservatives' statements lies because they are slightly off numerically speaking. I think the average joe would conclude, based on those 2 elements of information, that what he said was mostly true.

Am I wrong on this? Open to comments, but do you see what I mean about how it was only a lie if you've got your calculator out....otherwise it was substantially true in its main meaning.

Let us not also forget that Illegals ARE covered by ObamaCare despite what the rules say. At a minimum, they get emergency care in hospitals as ALL HUMANS do. We also have laws preventing illegal entry to the country but the Dems don't care about that law. They also manipulate legal status to get around the illegal entry part and they also make every effort to register the to vote. That way, even if they don't actually go to the polls and break our election laws, their registration increases the number of registered voters and that allows more bogus mail-in ballots to be inserted into the system. Why we don't serialize all ballots is beyond me. Then every voting machine should register the serial number to prevent multiple feeds and made up numbers.

And up until now (Trump wants to change this), the census has counted illegals, which gives states that house them additional, illegitimate, representation in Congress.

And conversely, the democrats want to count the illegals. They also want to suppress ALL attempts at clearing up our voter registration systems so that illegals can register and dead people can stay on the rolls so that more mail-in ballots are available to be stolen and illegally cast. Why do you think the Dems expend such an effort at ballot harvesting? They go into nursing homes and somehow 100% of the residents cast a ballot even though probably 70% are incapable of making such an important decision.

I have to admit an error on my part about 35+ years ago. When Mom became another Alzheimer's statistic and a nursing-home resident, I didn't think to notify the registrar of voters. Fortunately, Louisiana has an "aging out" process where if you stop voting, you fall off the roles after a couple of years. Therefore, the problem was resolved before she passed on. But at the time, voter registration was the least of my worries.

It worse, as it goes beyond a simple numeric argument. Democrats know how to phrase an argument in a misleading manner that makes them look good. For example, the Democrats shutdown the government by not passing a Continuing Resolution (CR). They then (falsely) claim that it is a Republican shutdown because the Republicans refuse to discuss healthcare. As such, Democrats (falsely) claim that many people will loose their affordable healthcare. What the Democrats disingenuously leave out:
  • The Continuing Resolution keeps the government operating, as is, to provide time for the Democrats and Republicans to discuss healthcare in the budget hearings.
  • The appropriate time to discuss healthcare is in a budget hearing in Congress with the government open. Not before then.
  • By shutting down the government, the Democrats are attempting to trick Republicans to make healthcare concessions before healthcare is even discussed in the budget hearings.
  • Democrats evidently, as a Covid measure, increased Affordable Care subsidy payments. It is my understanding that these subsidy payments are set to expire. Democrats appear to be using the expiration of the subsidies as an unjustifiable excuse to assert that the Republicans are increasing medical costs!!!!
  • Democrats contend that they want to hold medical costs down through the subsidies. That is a lie, healthcare costs (at a minimum) remain the same. What happens is that increased subsidies funded by taxpayers are used to "hold down" what the insured would pay for health insurance. This is not a reduction in health care costs. Essentially, the Democrats are proposing that taxpayers through subsidies pick-up the cost of health insurance for the benefit of the insured.
