Append Help!

I have 3 tables which I export as 3 separate text files each having different fixed length records.

Is there a way to append these three tables together? Union all does not work because they have different columns and field lengths.

I really need to figure this out today.

You can still union them together, using placeholders for fields a table doesn't include:

SELECT Field1, Field2, Field3
FROM...
UNION
SELECT Field1, Field2, "Empty" AS Field3
FROM...

there are so many fields that I was looking for a quicker and easier method, if possible
