Append Query Question

I have a query which is based on other quieries that returns a number in percentages, for example 28.24% (format set in properties to percentage and 2 decimal places)

Now I want to run an append query based on this information but when the data transfers across it rounds the data to either 100% or 0%.

Can anyone shed any light on this or how I can solve it?

What is the datatype of the receiving field, and what are it's display options?

The recieving data type in the table I am appending to, is Number, with a Percentage Format at 2 decimal places, the same as the data type within the Append Query

What kind of number? Hopefully not integer or long?
