Append Query

If I have two tables

tblMobileDevice and tblUser

If the IMEI field in tblMobileDevice matches the IMEI field in tblUser then put the UserName from tblUser in tblMobileDevice.

Is this possible??

Why do you want to do that? You just need to create a query that has a join between the tow fields and bring down the username in to the query.

There is already existing data in the tblUser table, I have to add 1500 new records that have come in from an Excel Sheet, just thought appending would be easier.
