Appointment yearly check up

Hello,

I have a booking system for a dentist and it works fine.

I Just somehow need to implement a way for the user to know when to contact customers for their next yearly check-up.

So lets say bob has an appointment 01-01-2015 then his next appointment would be 01-01-2016 and i need maybe a reminder on the system a month before the next appointment to contact the user informing them of this


Please can somebody advice me on a direction to take.

You need to look into the dateadd function, using that in conjunction with a query will allow you to pull up -lets say- appointments from 11 months ago, which then -obviously- would be due for new appointments in 1 month time.

similar to the last idea

a) simply have a query to find patients whose last appointment was after (say) 11 months ago.

b) have another query to find all the current patients (ie exclude deleted/left)

then do an unmatched query to find those in set b) that are not in set a)
