We are a A2003 shop with about 80 programs.
Based on what I'm reading here about Access installers running when switching between A2003 and A2007 (and the lost time and aggravation), it might be best to just bite the bullet and convert all the A2003 MDBs to A2007 and just run A2007. Are there any downsides to doing this?
We aren't doing anything too fancy in Access other than a lot of ODBC both with Msft and non-Msft back end databases.
We are waiting for our infrastructure folks to give us a machine with A2007 to experiment with.
Appreciate any advice from those who have been through this.
Thanks
