Hi,
going back to topics of a database splash screen.
Can Access start a .swf file as it can an application? maybe with the shell command? if so, you could create a flash splash screen and delay your form first form from opening in the AutoExec. therefore, you start your database, that runs your flash and holds back for say 10 seconds, the database opens and te flash closes as it would be made to run for the same time as the delay.
i had mentioned before a splash program but my new installer from sagekey only works with access as the main item.
any views?
