Hi All,

This should be simple but I haven't a clue . I have a database with various forms for input of data. Most forms have hyperlinks to files and when the save box appears I would like to be able to have it open in a specific directory instead of the users having to click there way through the server until they get to the point where all the files are saved.

I would presume that it would go in a global module but don't know the code.

Thanks in advance :)

If you look at the properties you should be able to set the initial directory to tell it where to begin the search.

Hi

thanks for your reply...I have already set this option which doesn't work when your inserting a hyperlink as it keeps reverting back to the directory where the database is kept plus I'm looking for an option where all employees are routed to the same directory as the location of the files :)

What version of Access are you using?
