I have not done anythign in access before and have an idea of what i want but no clue in how to go about it.
I have a single table of samples that is added to daily.
I have another table of product codes in which a specific material for each product code makes that sample.
for instance F11111 would have a description of Blue.
When a person enters the F11111 part, i want the description to fill itself in so that the user entering the sample can verify he has entered the correct product code. This also needs to be saved within the record he is adding.
I have read a bit about using a query for this and autofilling
Does anyone know of a tutorial for this or a guide somewhere that can help me?
