Automatically send an email

I have a filed which has a drop down selection. Accept or Decline.
I would like the system to send an email automatically with no intervention form the user to the manager. I have it currently set up as a Macro that runs in After Update but Access still gives me the option to edit the email. Id like to send a short report immediately to the manager if decline is selected.

One of the arguments of SendObject determines whether the email is sent or left open for editing.

You could use CDO to send the emails. Search the forum for CDO mail or google it. I can't post links because i don't have 10 posts
