Autosequence Number....

Hi guys,
My task is to create a table with some columns one of which should be something like a Autonumber, but it should start with 8000, 8001, 8002, 8003 and so on. and not 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. Please help.

the attached gives a (what i think is a good) solution to your question

there is a table with a number in it
once you press a button it gets this number , then updates the table by adding 1


(the form is sloppy - but look at the coding)
