A bit of a strange one this...
A client of mine has their mailboxes hosted up in a multi-tenanted Exchange 2007 environment. Although they trust the supplier to be backing up regularly, they still want something tangible that they can back up locally onto their tape drive.
The mailbox hosts allow Exchange ActiveSync and Outlook Web Access / EWS.
I can't use activesync because apparently you need a license of some sort so that leaves me with Outlook Web Access / EWS technology.
I have approx. 5 users to back up. I'm not worried about mailbox sizes at this stage as I just want to test the concept.
I envisage having a table for the mailbox usernames/passwords etc and the rest is currently floating around in my brain. I'll cross the storage bridge when I come to it.
Now, this code has to be independent of Outlook and work purely through the Web Access connection.
Can anyone help?
PS, I'm an experienced Access/VBA programmer.
