Started using Access 2007 and the company quickly upgraded me to 2010. This move has put me just a bit further behind the 'learning curve'!

I live in the Sierra Nevada foothills, an hour away from Lake Tahoe. This is my last real job before I retire in a couple of years, but I'm enjoying it so much, I might end up doing work here on a contract basis later on.

Thanks Bob!
What I'm trying to locate at the moment is the 2010 method of bringing up the Access Options menu. In 2007, there was a cute little icon in the upper left corner that gave me that ability. My goal is to start the Switchboard when the DB first opens.

FILE > ACCESS OPTIONS (at the bottom) will do it. Then select CURRENT DATABASE from the selection on the left.

I would only add (for anyone trying to follow along) that the "Display Form" drop-down is where the Switchboard is selected. The menu isn't terribly intuitive, in that is doesn't explicitly state that the "Display Form" is that form shown on start up.

That being said, this just what I was looking for, Bob. It worked like a charm.

Thanks!

I have some more Access 2007/2010 "quick tutorials" on my website. "Quick tutorials" are basically screenshots of how to do various things.
